Job Overview

OSB AG is seeking a **Cable Design Engineer** to become an integral part of our innovative team. In this position, you will focus on the design and optimization of cable systems for commercial vehicles, specifically addressing the architecture of both 12V/24V and high-voltage components. Your expertise will be essential in producing detailed plans and schematics using advanced ECAD systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and enhance cable routing systems for automotive applications.
  • Create comprehensive manufacturing documentation to support production processes.
  • Select appropriate automotive components that meet project specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in cable design or related areas.
  • Expertise in Zuken ECAD systems is essential.
  • Solid understanding of high-voltage systems and wiring networks.
  • Familiarity with bill of materials creation and CAD software.
  • Proficient in CAD Creo and MS-Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently while being flexible and team-oriented.
  • Fluency in both German and English is required.
