**Job Summary**

As a Mechanical Engineer at OSB AG, you will be responsible for the development and improvement of gear systems for commercial vehicles.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement new gear system concepts for commercial vehicles
  • Design, plan, and evaluate solution proposals considering functional, manufacturing, and economic aspects
  • Support simultaneous engineering processes with suppliers, internal production, and assembly
  • Be responsible for the dimensioning and design of gears and their components
  • Work on the creation and maintenance of part lists in the PDM system
  • Support the procurement, evaluation, and release of gear components
  • Be responsible for project planning in terms of different stages from prototype to series production
  • Collaborate with development project teams (internal, suppliers, and customers)
  • Evaluate and prepare patents regarding their impact and objections

**Requirements**

  • Completed studies in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics with a focus on vehicle technology and relevant work experience
  • Experience and system knowledge in the field of drivetrain
  • Excellent CAD Creo skills and knowledge of Intralink, Axalant, and MS-Office
  • Independent working style, flexibility, communication skills, and team skills
  • Good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
