People Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our EMEA People Ops team as a People Operations Intern. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in payroll and HR administration, working closely with our Director of HR Administration & Payroll and a distributed team across Munich and Madrid.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in HR administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Collaborate with local HR and People Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of payroll and HR processes.
- Learn about local legislation for the DACH region and apply knowledge to support employees with HR-related queries.
- Support employees with their HR questions using Service Now, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Participate in HR projects, contributing to process improvements and innovation.
- A strong desire to learn and grow in the payroll area, with a willingness to take on new challenges.
- Familiarity with Google Suite/MS Office, especially Excel, and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication with colleagues and employees.
