Job Description

As a Principal Engineer Process Development at Infineon Technologies, you will play a key role in shaping the future of mobility by enabling clean, safe, and smart cars. Your primary responsibility will be to design, verify, and release processes in a professional process management tool to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Design and Development: Design and develop processes that meet the company's requirements and standards.
  • Process Harmonization: Harmonize processes across the company, identifying opportunities for standardization and simplification.
  • Process Deployment: Deploy processes within development projects, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Process Improvement: Establish automated methods to improve efficiency for process verification, ensuring completeness and consistency.
  • Knowledge Management: Derive improvements, such as a central, scalable knowledge management system, and enhance existing compliance concepts.
  • Process Architecture: Support, maintain, and continuously improve the process architecture in close collaboration with process owners, ensuring alignment with company-wide process architecture.
  • Process KPIs: Define and deploy process KPIs across the organization, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Process Training: Conceptualize and provide process trainings to ensure that process users understand and can effectively apply the processes.
Requirements:
  • Education: A degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience: At least 6 years of experience in semiconductor product development.
  • Certification: IPMA certification is a plus.
  • Skills: Understanding of automotive development process, high level of analytical skill, ability to think outside of the box, and comprehension of change management.
  • Tools: Knowledge and experience on Methodpark-Stages tool.
  • Language: Fluent English skills, German is a plus.
