Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the daily financial transactions of Q ENERGY, focusing on our main business, a renewable power plant EPC service provider.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing in accordance with IFRS and HGB, and prepare appendices for group company reporting.
- Support the financial audit of Q ENERGY, responding to external auditor requests and coordinating with internal teams.
- Act as the primary contact for accounting-related inquiries and issues across all departments.
- Provide ad-hoc financial support to top management and the Head of Department.
- Continuously develop and improve accounting work processes, aiming for optimization, automation, standardization, and digitalization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance, with expertise in managing audits.
- Proven track record in finance and/or accounting roles within an international environment.
- Comprehensive understanding and application of HGB and IFRS accounting standards, supported by a globally recognized certification.
- Proficiency in utilizing SAP and MS Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and management.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in any additional language is a plus.
