Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to join our team at designface®. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our global supply chain, from forecasting and planning to delivery and payment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned work-packages globally, including forecasting, planning, purchasing, supplier development, and monitoring.
  • Act as Project Manager, interfacing with suppliers, leading multi-functional teams, and managing contractual deliverables on-time, on-quality, and on-cost.
  • Support Procurement and multi-functional teams in sourcing and contracting, identifying potential suppliers, assessing risks, and negotiating supply chain terms and conditions.
  • Ensure suppliers' readiness through capacity audits and capability assessments.
  • Control and manage suppliers' performance and improvement throughout the product lifecycle, initiating reviews, recovery plans, and corrective actions.
  • Monitor and manage suppliers' risks, opportunities, and obsolescence items, implementing early warning systems and mitigation plans.
  • Manage suppliers' initial production, ramp-up, and serialization readiness and performance.
  • Support the Supply Chain Quality Team to ensure supplier compliance to quality requirements.
  • Lead elements of supplier industrialization activities in line with AS9145 (APQP - Advanced Product Quality Planning).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in supply chain or technical project management roles, with 2 years in a similar position within a technology-driven industry.
  • Experience in development environment (New Product Introduction) and serial production is required.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is required.
  • Excellent communications and leadership maturity, with ability to build trust and consensus.
  • Eager to learn and adapt to a rapidly changing start-up environment.
  • Proactive with a can-do mindset, ability to understand and analyze problems, and come up with solutions.
  • Customer-centric with a broad understanding of the business environment.
  • Fluent English is essential.
