We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to join our team at Lilium. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our aircraft suppliers, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and assess potential suppliers, lead them towards industrialization of new products, and manage supplier schedules, capacity, and change implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Supplier Management: Identify and assess potential suppliers, lead them towards industrialization of new products, and manage supplier schedules, capacity, and change implementation.
- Supply Chain Operations: Ensure the readiness of the supply base by launching capability assessments and capacity audits at relevant suppliers, and implement data collection at the supplier for transparency on quality and production performance.
- Quality and Compliance: Work with the Supply Chain Quality Team to ensure that the supply chain complies with all necessary quality standards, including EASA 21G and EN9100, and implement proper risk management to avoid any disruption to the supply of items and program delays.
- Collaboration and Communication: Actively contribute to cross-functional teams, drive APQP activities at Suppliers, and ensure compliance to international regulations and customs processes.
- Leadership and Development: Lead by example with uncompromising business ethics and respect for people, and drive recovery actions internally and at suppliers in case of non-performance.
- Education: Bachelor of Engineering and/or Business Administration Degree.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain or technical project management roles, with at least 2 years in a similar position within a technology-driven industry.
- Skills: Excellent communications and leadership maturity, ability to build trust and consensus, and secure commitment from all team members. Willingness to take risks in decision making, and a can-do mindset.
- Language: Fluent in English.
