Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled PhD candidate to join our team at Bosch, focusing on the development and testing of hybrid quantum-classical workflows, simulation tools, and quantum algorithms for materials design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and test hybrid quantum-classical workflows and simulation tools for materials simulation.
  • Research and implement relevant models for simulating industrially relevant materials on near-term quantum computers.
  • Collaborate with our team to advance the field of quantum computing for materials design.
Requirements
  • PhD in Physics, Chemistry, or Computational Science with a focus on theoretical solid-state physics, quantum mechanics, or quantum computing.
  • Excellent communication skills and programming experience in languages such as Python, Fortran, or C.
  • Knowledge of density functional theory, Hubbard models, or quantum circuits is a plus.
  • Business fluent in English, knowledge of German desired.
