Quantum Computing Researcher

As a PhD researcher in quantum computing, you will contribute to the development of hybrid quantum-classical workflows and simulation tools for materials design. Your research will focus on the application of quantum algorithms to simulate industrially relevant materials on near-term quantum computers.
Responsibilities- Develop and test hybrid quantum-classical workflows and simulation tools
- Research and implement quantum algorithms for materials simulation
- Collaborate with the research team to advance the field of quantum computing and materials design
- PhD in Physics, Chemistry, or Computational Science with a focus on theoretical solid-state physics, quantum mechanics, or quantum computing
- Excellent communication and programming skills (Python, Fortran, C)
- Knowledge of density functional theory, Hubbard models, or quantum circuits is a plus
