Job Title: Satellite Security Systems Engineer

Job Description:

OHB System AG, a leading European space company, is seeking a skilled Satellite Security Systems Engineer to join their team in Bremen. As a key member of the Satellite Systems Engineering department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of satellite projects.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Technical management and coordination of security engineering activities
  • Control, planning, specification, and verification of function and performance of security-related systems
  • Critical review and analysis of customer security requirements and flow down of security requirements to subsystem and equipment level
  • Technical coordination of security-related tasks with customer, subcontractors, and internal technical disciplines
  • Provide input for progress reports and meetings and contribute to project risk management in regards to security matters
  • Define test specifications for security tests and verification in alignment with AIT operation plans
  • Support security-related preparations of satellite tests and test reviews as well as on-site support of launch and flight phases

Your Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering, physics, or equivalent
  • Professional experience in satellite design advantageous
  • Good conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Well-developed communication and negotiation skills
  • High motivation, pro-active working approach, and strong sense of responsibility
  • Team-minded and ideally accustomed to work in internationally composed teams
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English, German language skills highly desirable
