Job Title: IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at the Embassy of the United States Berlin.

Job Summary:

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our customers, including password resets, mobile device support, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Perform password resets and mobile device support
  • Escalate tickets to system analysts or Washington representatives as necessary
  • Assist the IT Director with various administrative tasks
  • Serve as the primary Point of Contact for IT Inventories located within the Embassy
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • General office support experience utilizing computers and software
  • Experience in systems implementation, network administration, helpdesk technician, or desktop system support
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
