Research Scientist

As a member of our research group, you will be involved in basic scientific research in the area of voltage and ligand gated ion channels. Your primary focus will be on studying the activation mechanisms and functions of a small family of intracellularly located channels.
These channels are expressed in endosomes and lysosomes and play a crucial role in various intracellular trafficking processes, including surface expression of growth factor receptors, regulation of transporters in resorptive epithelia, and uptake of bacterial protein toxins and processing of viruses.
Your responsibilities will include designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and presenting research findings. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with our team of experts and contribute to the development of new research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
• PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field
• Strong background in scientific research and experimental design
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and presentation skills
