Sales Manager for Industrial Packaging in Germany

Your Role

Cultivate and maintain customer relationships: Engage with clients, develop their needs, and negotiate beneficial contracts. Formulate and implement sales strategies: Identify and realize sales opportunities, target specific markets and clients within the designated area, and oversee strategy execution. Establish pricing structures and strategies. Manage all administrative interactions between clients and the internal team; collaborate closely with Customer Service and Key Account Management. Work alongside colleagues from Marketing, Product Management, Application Engineering, and R&D to continuously enhance our offerings and drive sales; ensure local marketing initiatives, participate in trade shows, client events, and internal sales gatherings. Keep precise and detailed records as required by the business.

Your Qualifications

Relevant academic degree. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, ideally within a related sector (chemicals, packaging, plastics, and films). Strong understanding of Key Account Management and a solid grasp of sales strategy development and execution. Experience in B2B and B2C sales of technical products. Proficient in both German and English, with a deep understanding of local customs and practices, enabling the establishment of trustworthy customer relationships through cultural awareness. Exceptional negotiation skills, along with strong analytical and technical capabilities and problem-solving proficiency. Familiarity with customer management processes and tools. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
