Contract Manager for HVDC Service Operations

Job Title: Contract Manager for HVDC Service Operations

Hitachi Energy Germany AG is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to support the HVDC service business. As a key member of our contract management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of contracts and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the drafting of contracts, subcontracts, and supply contracts to protect our interests and ensure compliance with applicable procedures.
  • Develop negotiation strategies and support negotiations to achieve favorable contract terms.
  • Ensure that contracts and projects are managed in accordance with contract and claim management methodologies.
  • Provide guidance and leadership on contract-related matters to cross-functional business team members.
  • Coordinate with Insurance Risk Management to ensure adherence to insurance provisions within contracts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in EPC power generation, substations, converter stations, grid integration, transmission, or similar industrial plant contract management and subcontract management functions.
  • Solid experience in tender phase.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and negotiate in German and English.
