Job Title: Financial and Accounting Manager
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the accounting and controlling departments, ensuring effective financial management and strategic decision-making.
- Establish and enforce robust accounting methods, guidelines, and principles to maintain financial integrity.
- Manage daily accounting processes, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with external tax consultants to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB.
- Organize monthly VAT returns and manage cash flow, including liquidity planning and monitoring, to ensure financial stability.
- Support external payroll accounting and design, implement, and continuously develop a company-specific controlling system.
- Implement and regularly follow budget planning, conduct variation and profitability analyses, and derive corrective measures to drive business growth.
- Establish monthly reporting, including a key figure system, to provide insights into financial performance.
- Conceptualize and continuously improve commercial systems, processes, and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Act as a contact person for colleagues, employees, banks, and tax consultants, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with tax and commercial regulations for recording and archiving business documents.
- Support the management team in driving business strategy and decision-making.
- Completed degree in business administration with a focus on finance, accounting, or controlling.
- Several years of solid professional experience as a manager in the commercial sector.
- Sound knowledge of HGB, business processes, and interrelationships.
- Proficiency in modern controlling systems and tools.
- Dynamism, openness, growth-oriented personality.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills with a solution-oriented and structured working method.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with organizational and implementation strength in medium-sized companies.
- Initiative, teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
- Good knowledge of DATEV, MS Office (especially Excel), and ERP systems.
- Fluency in German and English.
