Our European headquarters in Unterschleissheim coordinates activities across multiple locations, including sales, marketing, and product engineering, ensuring that we meet the needs of our diverse clientele.We are currently seeking a motivated Working Student in Industrial IoT - Test Automation (m/f/d) to join our Engineering Team in Unterschleißheim.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the development and enhancement of testing systems, tools, methodologies, and DevOps practices. Implement new testing infrastructure and create tools for establishing and managing automated testing environments. Collaborate with engineering teams to comprehend testing objectives and deliver solutions through automation. Design automation processes for continuous monitoring of the FOTA feature and battery consumption in devices. Evaluate automation test outcomes and coordinate with development teams to ensure thorough retesting of resolved issues.CANDIDATE PROFILE
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proficient in Python programming. Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies. Enjoys automating repetitive tasks. Possesses a maker mindset, translating concepts into stable and scalable solutions. Inquisitive and curious about exploring new challenges. Hands-on experience with Arduino or similar prototyping platforms. Familiarity with testing methodologies and the ability to create test cases is advantageous. Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD systems, such as GitLab, is beneficial. Understanding of concepts like ATDD/BDD is a plus. Exposure to embedded firmware development is an added advantage. Excellent command of English. Available for a minimum of one year, working 20 hours per week on-site.OUR OFFER
