We are currently seeking a dedicated Working Student in Industrial IoT - Test Automation (m/f/d) to join our Engineering Team in Unterschleißheim.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the development and enhancement of testing systems, tools, methodologies, and DevOps practices. Implement new testing frameworks and create tools for establishing and managing automated testing environments. Collaborate with engineering teams to comprehend testing objectives and deliver automation solutions. Design automation processes for continuous monitoring of FOTA features and battery consumption in devices. Evaluate automation test outcomes and liaise with the development team to ensure effective resolution of identified issues.CANDIDATE PROFILE
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proficient in Python programming. Enthusiastic about exploring new technologies. Enjoys automating repetitive tasks. Possesses a maker mindset, translating concepts into stable and scalable solutions. Demonstrates curiosity and a willingness to explore new challenges. Hands-on experience with Arduino or similar prototyping platforms is advantageous. Familiarity with testing methodologies and the ability to create test cases is a plus. Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD systems like GitLab is beneficial. Understanding of concepts such as ATDD/BDD is a plus. Exposure to embedded firmware development is an added advantage. Excellent command of English is required. Must be available for a minimum of 1 year, working 20 hours per week on-site.OUR OFFER
