Location: Schorndorf, Germany
Position Summary
Catalent is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. We are seeking a highly experienced Director Supply Chain to join our team in Schorndorf, Germany.
The Director Supply Chain will be responsible for overseeing all supply chain activities, including planning, procurement, inventory management, and customer service. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of supply chain operations, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
The Role
- Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Manage commercial supply agreements and ensure high levels of service and on-time delivery to customers.
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues and improve overall efficiency.
- Implement and manage planning and S&OP processes to ensure optimal processing of customer orders.
- Work closely with operations and quality teams to develop production and laboratory capacity plans.
- Negotiate and manage supply agreements with customers.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Catalent's logistics and planning strategy.
The Candidate
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., supply chain management, business administration).
- Over 10 years of experience in supply chain leadership roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of improving supply chain efficiency and reducing costs.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
