Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Engineering Manager to join our team at Kaufland e-commerce. As a key member of our search engine team, you will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of our Elasticsearch cluster, ensuring the highest level of performance and relevance for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in the development and maintenance of our Elasticsearch cluster
  • Design and implement efficient search algorithms and data models to improve search relevance and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and services
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, well-tested code to ensure the stability and scalability of our search infrastructure
  • Monitor and analyze search performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Communicate technical ideas and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
