About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Engineering Manager to join our team at Kaufland e-commerce. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in the development and maintenance of our search engine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in the development and maintenance of our search engine
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve search engine performance and relevance
  • Work closely with the search engine engineering team to understand product needs and develop solutions
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of our search engine
  • Make informed decisions based on data and metrics
Requirements
  • Extensive experience with search engines and Elasticsearch
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to interpret data and metrics to inform decision-making
  • Experience with Kubernetes, gRPC, and Typescript
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
