Hatch is a global leader in engineering and project delivery, and we're seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Project Delivery Group, you will be responsible for leading electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical project teams to achieve project goals, quality, time, and cost
- Manage project budgets and schedules
- Plan and coordinate project resources
- Develop and manage project proposals and estimates
- Design and dimension electrical systems, equipment, and cables
- Conduct technical discussions with clients and suppliers
- Oversee the creation of electrical project documentation
- Coordinate and supervise electrical project installations and commissioning
- Travel internationally for project work
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of electrical project processes
Requirements:
- Completed electrical trade apprenticeship or equivalent
- Electrical engineer certification (DIN VDE 1000-10)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an electrical designer or project engineer in international plant construction
- Proven team leadership experience
- Knowledge of electrical engineering, including power systems, control systems, and electrical safety
- Knowledge of electrical engineering software and tools
- Knowledge of relevant electrical engineering standards and regulations
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electrical engineering software and tools
- Knowledge of electrical engineering standards and regulations
- Experience with project management software and tools
- Experience with electrical engineering design and simulation software
