**About the Role**
We're seeking a Technical Marketing Manager to join our RFF Business team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers and distributors in the rubber and plastic industry.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide technical support to customers and distributors on UPM's renewable functional fillers (RFF)
- Collect feedback and technical requirements from customers and share with the sales & marketing team for informed decision-making
- Coordinate and steer customer approvals of UPM's RFF
- Introduce RFF to new leads from the rubber and plastic industry
- Prepare technical literature on RFF and provide training to customers and distributors
- Participate in trade fairs and give technical presentations at industry conferences
**Requirements**
- University degree in chemistry, polymer engineering, or materials science
- More than 5 years of experience in the rubber and plastics industry
- Deep knowledge of functional fillers, polymers, compounding, rubber and plastics processing, and their use in tires and non-tire applications
- Strong commercial focus to merge customer needs with business benefits
- Excellent skills in MS Office 365 (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and familiar with CRM programs (e.g., Salesforce)
- Fluent in English and German language and excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Confident, able to make decisions, take ownership of objectives and challenges, and possess very good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willing to travel (30-40%) internationally (focus EU)
