**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Marketing Manager to join our team in Leuna or from home office. As a Technical Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers and distributors in the rubber and plastic industry.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide technical support for UPM's renewable functional fillers (RFF) to direct customers and distributors.
  • Collect feedback and technical requirements from customers and share it with the sales & marketing team for informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate and steer customer approvals of UPM's RFF.
  • Introduce RFF to new leads from the rubber and plastic industry.
  • Prepare technical literature on RFF and provide training to customers and distributors.
  • Participate in trade fairs and give technical presentations at industry conferences.

**Requirements**

  • University degree in chemistry, polymer engineering, or materials science.
  • More than 5 years of experience in the rubber and plastics industry.
  • Deep knowledge of functional fillers, polymers, compounding, rubber and plastics processing, and their use in tires and non-tire applications.
  • Strong commercial focus to merge customer needs with business benefits.
  • Excellent skills in MS Office 365 (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and familiarity with CRM programs (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Fluent in English and German language and excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Confident, able to make decisions, take ownership of objectives and challenges, and possess very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to travel (30-40%) internationally (focus EU).
