Your Role

As a Document Control Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team of Document Controllers. Your tasks will include:

  • Filing, organizing, and compiling electronic data and documents throughout their lifecycle.
  • Coordinating project-specific documentation and tracking deadlines.
  • Organizing and demanding the timely compilation and delivery of contractually agreed documents.
  • Maintaining and updating metadata in electronic document systems.
  • Participating in coordination meetings regarding documentation and related processes with all relevant parties.
  • Specifying and training project-specific requirements.
  • Creating and delivering data for evaluations on the status of documentation progress.
  • Setting up systems and related procedures/processes for Projects.
  • Clarifying Document Control issues and ensuring adherence to Document Control rules and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A successfully completed technical/commercial study or apprenticeship.
  • Very good knowledge of all tasks of a document controller and several years of experience in performing these tasks.
  • Good knowledge of documentation systems commonly used in the market and by customers.
  • A structured and reliable way of working.
  • The ability to communicate and work in/to lead a team.
  • Balancing nature and the ability to steer different opinions in a harmonized direction.
  • The ability to take initiative, make decisions, and follow up on them.
  • High IT affinity and confident use of the Microsoft product range.
  • Fluency in English and German.
  • A willingness to travel.
