We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Technical Assistant to join our Chemistry department at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement various analytical methods for ingredient determination using HPLC, HPLC-MS, GC, and GC-MS.
  • Establish new measurement methods in food ingredients, protein, and flavor analysis.
  • Create, review, and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs) for analytical work.
  • Develop and document method validations, and prepare sample preparation protocols.
  • Document analytical work in accordance with ISO 17025 standards.
  • Work in biochemical plants (S1 laboratory) and contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in chemistry, food chemistry, biochemistry, or related fields.
  • Specializations in food and/or flavor and/or protein analysis are an advantage.
  • Extended knowledge of modern chemical analysis in chromatography.
  • Experience in genetic engineering (S1 project manager) is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and CDS (Chromatography Data System).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Good knowledge of German and English.
