Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Coordinator in the Fresh Food industry. As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain process.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement and distribution.
- Maintain and update accurate records of inventory levels, sales, and forecasts.
- Communicate and collaborate with suppliers to ensure delivery schedules and resolve any supply issues.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement, such as reducing costs and lead times.
- Evaluate supplier performance.
- Coordinate with central logistics team, central planning team, and supplier warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
- Generate and analyze reports on supply chain metrics, such as inventory turnover, fill rate, and on-time delivery.
- Support the implementation of new systems or processes to streamline supply chain operations.
- Proactively identify potential risks by conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and identify disruptions in the supply chain and develop contingency plans.
- Maintain strong relationships with our suppliers and with internal stakeholders, such as sales administration team, demand planner team, sales team, to ensure alignment and meet business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices and fresh food industry trends.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve supply chain issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and supplier team.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Fluent in English and French is a plus.
