Quality Assurance Manager

Wärtsilä is a leading technology company that enables sustainable societies through innovation in technology and services. We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating a decarbonized and sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the implementation of quality management requirements defined in relevant standards and company regulations.
- Develop and maintain quality management plans for projects, including quality assurance plans and control measures.
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor and control quality-related progress and deviations.
- Prepare reliability and failure analysis for system deliveries, and assist in the preparation and execution of quality assurance acceptance tests.
- Review and evaluate the quality status of suppliers during the selection process, and plan and monitor QA activities during production.
- Monitor the quality level of product and system deliveries, and support acceptance tests both internally and with suppliers.
- Develop measures to reduce warranty costs, and communicate and report quality issues to the appropriate solution or product owner.
- Completed technical studies (Master, Bachelor)
- Qualification as Quality Assurance Representative
- 3-4 years technical project planning or order execution
- 2-3 years as quality assurance representative for relevant products
- Good knowledge of all relevant standards and regulations, especially in the field of military business
- Knowledge of design processes in the shipbuilding or marine equipment industry
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Fluent German language skills
- Experience in cost optimization
- SAP knowledge
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
