Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative glass and glass-ceramic based solutions for new products and applications, and scale and transfer these solutions to our business units.
- Analyze complex material process properties to meet future product requirements, and take responsibility for ambitious development projects.
- Network with the scientific community and technology providers, and monitor the state of the art in materials science.
Requirements
- Excellent university degree with a PhD in physics, chemistry, or materials science.
- Knowledge and experience in ceramics and/or electronics and semiconductor processing are a plus.
- Strong analytical skills combined with a structured, success-oriented work approach.
- Ability to solve challenging problems and take responsibility for R&D projects in an industrial environment.
- Fluency in programming languages, such as Python, is a plus.
- Excellent English and German language skills (written and spoken).
