Job Title: Galileo Training Expert

GMV is seeking a highly skilled Galileo Training Expert to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of flight and ground operations by overseeing simulation and training activities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage all tasks related to simulations for the Galileo Flight and Ground Control Segments.
  • Provide support for the training of operational teams, ensuring preparedness for all mission phases.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute simulation campaigns, including regular and refresher training sessions.
  • Align simulator configurations with the real-time satellite status to ensure simulation accuracy.
  • Support the development of training materials, certifications, and training courses, analyzing team needs to ensure effective learning.
  • Collaborate closely with the Flight Control Team to develop and validate operational scenarios through simulation-based training.
  • Assist the Operations Team with ongoing training and development activities.
  • Create and maintain scripts for simulator set-up and breakpoints, ensuring smooth operation and flexibility during simulations.
  • Monitor and track the training progress of team members, ensuring their readiness for operations.
  • Support the development, planning, and implementation of the LEOP (Launch and Early Orbit Phase) training concept.
  • Oversee the planning of simulations, including training campaigns and contingency scenarios.
