Production Manager

GESTRA is a leading international manufacturer of valves and control technology for the steam and power industries. We focus on providing our customers with complete solutions and systems of high reliability. GESTRA is part of Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc, a multinational engineering group based in Cheltenham, UK.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Manage the overall production process, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting production targets.
- Lead a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new technologies and processes that can improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- You have a degree in engineering or a related field and have significant experience in production management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- You have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve their best.
- You are a strategic thinker, able to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
- You have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and are able to identify opportunities for improvement.
- You are fluent in German and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
