Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a talented Business Consultant to join our Global Data and AI department at DB Schenker. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in connecting the worlds of business and data analytics, leveraging your quantitative skills and business acumen to drive business value.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with business units and functions globally to solve business problems and address analytics needs for Artificial Intelligence, Operations Research, and Business Intelligence solutions.
- Drive the definition, requirements, design, delivery, and adoption of innovative AI and Operations Research, and BI solutions together with business units and IT organization.
- Perform data analysis, create exploratory business intelligence dashboards, optimize processes, conduct market research, perform financial and risk analysis, and communicate results to key stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Contribute to the strategic vision, roadmap, and prioritization of features for development for data analytics projects.
- Follow agile product management practices to ensure timely delivery of product deployments.
- Support the department's mission by building and extending critical AI enablers such as digital strategy, AI awareness, or data leadership.
- Outstanding university degree in a related technical/mathematical/business/finance discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in professional organizations with an emphasis on data and business analysis, digital product management, business/marketing intelligence, consulting, or a related field.
- Ability to translate business problems into quantitative analyses and insights.
- Driving product ideas from concept and ideation through successful internal or external launch and ongoing management.
- Strong conceptual skills and innovation attitude.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Passion to learn new technologies and analytical methodologies as well as to dive into the business concepts and processes behind the data.
- Experience in data analysis (using Python, R, C++, Excel).
- Knowledge of Operations Research, AI, and machine learning methods preferred.
- Knowledge of the logistics & transportation industry preferred.
- Knowledge of agile working mode preferred.
- Clear and succinct verbal and written communications in English.
- Global mindset and high level of cultural sensitivity.
- Flexible remote work.
