About the Role

We are seeking a talented Business Consultant to join our Global Data and AI department at DB Schenker. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in connecting the worlds of business and data analytics, leveraging your quantitative skills and business acumen to drive business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business units and functions globally to identify and solve business problems, leveraging data and analytics to inform strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Drive the development and implementation of innovative AI and Operations Research solutions, working closely with IT and business stakeholders to ensure successful adoption.
  • Perform data analysis, create business intelligence dashboards, and optimize processes to drive business outcomes.
  • Contribute to the strategic vision and roadmap for data analytics projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Apply agile product management practices to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
Requirements
  • Outstanding university degree in a related technical/mathematical/business/finance discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in data and business analysis, digital product management, business/marketing intelligence, consulting, or a related field.
  • Ability to translate business problems into quantitative analyses and insights.
  • Strong conceptual skills, innovation attitude, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and analytical methodologies, as well as diving into business concepts and processes.
  • Experience in data analysis using Python, R, C++, Excel, and knowledge of Operations Research, AI, and machine learning methods preferred.
