Our Product Division develops, produces, and distributes cutting-edge audio, video, IT, and communication solutions. We deliver a wide range of high-quality products that are among the most innovative in the industry.
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering commissioning and training services on-site or remotely. You will work closely with Riedel teams and customers to organize and prepare for onsite services, including all necessary content and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver commissioning and training services on-site or remotely
- Work with Riedel teams and customers to organize onsite services
- Collaborate with Project Management and Pre-Sales teams to create Scope of Work statements
- Ensure pre-commissioning documentation is up-to-date and coordinated
- Ensure post-commissioning documentation is complete and properly handed over to Customer Service teams
- Contribute to the Customer Success team to collect, organize, and share knowledge of products, industry standards, new technologies, and best practices
- Assist Demo teams and Pre-Sales teams in complex set-ups for demos, POCs, exhibitions, and lead cross-department projects
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in a relevant market field, ideally in the broadcast and entertainment Audio/Video market
- Mobility and willingness to travel is a must
- Experience in broadcast production workflow is essential
- Knowledge of new digital media standards with focus on video and audio over IP/SMPTE 2110
- Experience in understanding network architecture and deployment is a plus
- University studies or equivalent trainee program in Information Technology, electrical engineering, or communications engineering
- Passion for communication with customers and troubleshooting
- Self-organized and capable of self-educating on new technologies
- Team player that fits the personality and basic setting of an international, medium-sized company
- English speaking is a must (other languages are a plus)
