Project Engineer

Riedel Communications is a leading provider of live production tools in the media, sports, and entertainment sectors. Our Product Division develops, produces, and distributes audio, video, IT, and communication solutions that are among the most innovative in the industry.
Your Responsibilities:- Deliver commissioning and training services on-site or remotely, working closely with Riedel teams and customers to ensure seamless execution.
- Collaborate with Project Management and Pre-Sales teams to create and follow Scope of Work statement documents, managing client expectations throughout the project.
- Ensure all pre-commissioning documentation is up-to-date and coordinated, and that all post-commissioning documentation is complete and properly handed over to relevant Customer Service teams.
- Work collaboratively with the Customer Success team to collect, organize, and share knowledge of products, industry standards, new technologies, and best practices.
- Assist Demo teams and Pre-Sales teams in complex set-ups for demos, POCs, exhibitions, and lead necessary cross-department projects.
- 4+ years of proven experience in a relevant market field, ideally in the broadcast and entertainment Audio/Video market.
- Mobility and willingness to travel are essential.
- Experience in broadcast production workflow is essential, with knowledge of new digital media standards, including video and audio over IP/SMPTE 2110.
- Experience in understanding network architecture and deployment is a plus.
- Successfully completed university studies or completed an equivalent trainee program, such as CCNA, ACE, or an equivalent degree in Information Technology, electrical engineering, or communications engineering.
- Passion for communication and troubleshooting.
- Self-organized and capable of self-educating on new technologies.
- Team player with a personality that fits the international, medium-sized company culture.
- English speaking is a must; other languages are a plus.
