Job Title: Financial Accounting Manager

We are currently seeking a Financial Accounting Manager (m/f/d) in full-time for our client in the field of Financial Services in direct hiring.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Financial Accounting Department, responsible for the classification and booking of business transactions
  • Maintenance of fixed asset accounting, execution of payment runs and reconciliation of accounts
  • Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and the creation of evaluations and statistics
  • Ensure smooth processing of all payment transactions
  • Contact person for auditors, tax consultants, and authorities
Requirements
  • Completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on accounting/finance or a comparable qualification in the field of financial accounting
  • Several years of experience in accounting
  • Leadership experience and the ability to motivate a team
  • Excellent knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) as well as experience with ERP systems (preferably DATEV)
  • You are an open-minded, empathetic person with strong communication skills and an independent, meticulous, and structured way of working
  • Good German and English skills complete your profile
