Candidate Profile
The perfect candidate will demonstrate:
- Expertise in designing and constructing intricate software systems.
- Proficiency in developing applications utilizing the Go programming language.
- Experience with NoSQL (DynamoDB) and SQL (Postgres) databases.
- Skill in conducting code reviews and engaging in pair programming with fellow software developers.
- Capability to work autonomously and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Strong communication abilities, facilitating collaboration with team members.
- Currently residing in Berlin
Technical Environment
Our technology stack includes:
- Frontend technologies - JavaScript, React, TypeScript

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain software applications and solutions, ensuring adherence to our stringent quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and data scientists to outline project specifications and deliver pioneering solutions.
- Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, from conception and design to testing and deployment.
- Identify and manage the technical debt backlog, formulating strategies to address these issues as necessary.
- Write clean, efficient code across various programming languages.
- Conduct code reviews and offer constructive feedback to uphold code quality and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software challenges, providing prompt solutions.
- Recognize time-consuming obstacles or blockers to team success and propose actionable recommendations.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in software development to continually enhance CloudFactory's capabilities.
Interview Process
Candidates will undergo an initial coding and analytical assessment, followed by an interview with a Tech Lead and engineering team members, where they will discuss previous projects, methodologies employed, and outcomes achieved.
Successful candidates will then meet with the VP of Engineering - AI and the CTO for the final interview.
