About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at InterSystems. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law, with experience in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. You will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to our business teams, ensuring compliance with internal processes and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Assist in the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial agreements, including software and support license agreements, order forms, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough research and analysis of complex legal issues, providing recommendations and guidance to our business teams.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as external regulations and laws.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our business teams to understand their needs and provide timely and effective legal support.
  • Project Management: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of strategies, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Law degree from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in-house or in practice.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex legal issues and work under pressure.
  • Language: Fluency in English and German, with additional languages a plus.
