About the Role

We are looking for a Project Manager (m/w/d) in Industrial Automation to join our team in Reutlingen. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading customer projects in the field of production lines or equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead customer projects in the field of production lines or equipment
  • Provide technical leadership to international project teams and coordinate all internal (development, procurement, production planning, assembly, commissioning, and service) and external interfaces
  • Ensure the contract- and specification-compliant implementation of task and obligation lists, taking into account internal guidelines and successful project completion and handover to service
  • Identify potential deviations in terms of time, cost, and quality at an early stage and implement controlled changes
  • Contribute to the standardization of our project management processes

Requirements

  • Completed technical studies or completed vocational training with further education
  • Corresponding professional experience or comparable qualification
  • Several years of project management experience in the automotive industry, preferably in special machine or equipment manufacturing
  • Experience with ramp-up phases is an advantage
  • Experience in leading international and interdisciplinary project teams
  • Good knowledge of SAP
  • Systematic thinking and working style combined with a high degree of flexibility and problem-solving competence
  • Strong communication skills and a motivating personality
  • High level of independence and sense of responsibility
  • Fluent English skills in speech and writing, as well as a high level of international travel readiness
