Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of approximately €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience. Job Description

We are looking for a skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to support the operation, maintenance, securing, and evolving of the software deployment IT-infrastructure for our customer Airbus Defence and Space. Your tasks will include specifying, configuring, and rolling out IT-infrastructure for the internal development system, supporting a strict configuration management process to define and identify baselines of the IT-systems, assuring compliance of systems with Airbus Information Management guidelines, and continuously updating the development systems along the evolution of the Mission Planning Systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have a completed training as an IT Spezialist, IT Business Administrator, or comparable qualification, very good English knowledge, and German knowledge is nice to have. Additionally, you should have demonstrated 4-5 years of experience in securely and reliably operating IT systems, solid experience in collaborating with software development teams and integrating with their development and configuration processes based on tools like Jira, Git, Bitbucket or Nexus, and experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows systems (Active Directory, Microsoft DNS, Microsoft DHCP, Microsoft Certificate Authority, Microsoft WSUS, Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022), Windows Client (10, 11). Solid knowledge about virtualisation with VMWare vSphere/vCenter/ESX and an understanding of the Infrastructure as Code principle in a mixed environment are also essential.
