Flight Software Tester

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Flight Software Tester to join our team at Rocket Factory Augsburg AG. As a Flight Software Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and constructing testing platforms to effectively validate Guidance, Navigation and Control software.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop testing platforms to validate Guidance, Navigation and Control software
  • Create software to enable running tests within a Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL, HIL) environment
  • Develop tools for frequent and dependable software deployment, test execution, and data analysis
  • Analyze test results and identify flaws that require scrutiny with engineers
  • Collaborate with developers to deliver a unified testing platform
  • Integrate and troubleshoot Avionics hardware/software
  • Identify areas for improvement in testing systems and devise innovative solutions

Requirements

  • Current student in electrical, mechanical, software engineering or related discipline
  • Experience in Python, C++, MATLAB, LabView
  • Resourceful problem solver with experience in multiple disciplines
  • Experience in Python and Bash scripting languages and CI/CD processes
  • Understanding of network-based communication protocols and debugging tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Fluent oral and written English skills
