Global Trade Compliance Specialist

Job Description

Renesas is seeking a highly motivated Global Trade Compliance Specialist to join our Trade Compliance Department in Düsseldorf.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct sanction list checks and implement an Internal Compliance Program
  • Prepare and submit export and import declarations for Germany and the UK
  • Perform HS-code tariffing for Germany and the UK
  • Classify export-controlled items for Germany, the UK, and US re-export
  • Apply for licenses in Germany and the UK
  • Review and approve pro-forma invoices
  • Obtain supplier declarations
  • Serve as a contact person for customs and export-related issues in daily business
  • Develop and deliver internal GTC awareness trainings
  • Maintain GTC EMEA Intranet pages in SharePoint
  • Manage Intrastat-Reporting
Your Profile:
  • Graduate background in trade or a related field
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in trade compliance
  • Specific knowledge of customs and export control regulations
  • Substantial knowledge of Microsoft 365 Apps (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Basic understanding of SAP
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and team skills
  • Fluency in English and German
