International Affairs Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Affairs Specialist to join our team at GUS Germany GmbH. As a key member of our International Affairs Team, you will play a vital role in supporting our students and staff in their international endeavors.
Key Responsibilities- Student Support: Provide expert advice and guidance to students on international matters, including study abroad programs, residence permits, and registration.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the International Affairs Team to coordinate international events, workshops, and information sessions.
- Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks, such as issuing and following up on documents, verifying and processing applications, and supporting International Affairs operations.
- Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication channels with students, staff, and external partners to ensure seamless international operations.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address student concerns and provide solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and spoken language skills in German and English.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Cultural Competence: Show a high level of cultural competence to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Knowledge and Experience: Possess knowledge of DAAD funding programs, residence law, and university management systems.
- Education and Qualifications: Hold a completed vocational training or university degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience in higher education.
