IT Network Engineer

Are you a skilled IT professional looking for a challenging role in network engineering? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Network Engineer to join our global IT operations team.
About the RoleAs an IT Network Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation and accessibility of our network infrastructure. This includes managing and developing our state-of-the-art IT infrastructure from the network to the cloud.
Key Responsibilities- Take responsibility for ensuring continuous operation and accessibility of the network (WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi with support by service providers)
- Drive progress by further developing and implementing global network strategy/network design
- Tackle tasks independently, including error analysis and troubleshooting, technical requirements management, and coordinating technical requirements with providers
- Record conscientiously, including technical service documentation and continuous service monitoring and reporting
- University degree in computer science, business informatics, or comparable training
- Network experience, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, MPLS, SD-WAN, routers, VPN, gateways, proxy, firewall
- Experience with advanced IT structures and systems, as well as knowledge within the security environment
- Expertise in routing, switching, firewalling, troubleshooting, and network design
- Cisco CCNP/CCIE, knowledge of service processes according to ITIL
- Customer orientation, sense of responsibility, analytical thinking skills, and a systematic and goal-oriented way of working as part of a team
- Conversationally fluent English language skills required; German advantageous
- Willingness to occasionally travel nationally and internationally
