Compliance Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team at Raisin. As a key member of our Compliance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our business operations are in line with regulatory standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Compliance Risk analysis and assist with maintaining and undertaking Compliance monitoring and control checks.
- Provide Regulatory Compliance support, utilizing Horizon-monitoring tooling, analyzing business impact, and supporting implementation.
- Assist with Raisin Group Policy maintenance and review, including supporting Capital Markets compliance, Directors' disclosures, Outside Interests and Hospitality registers.
- Onboard and monitor B2C and B2B Commercial partners, conducting research, PEP/Sanctions checking and screening, negative media searches, and preparing reports (EU, UK, US).
- Develop and deliver annual Compliance training and support to company new joiners.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of reporting to committees, Board, and Annual Reporting, particularly for external audits.
- Background in regulation, risk management, and/or compliance, with experience in the banking or financial services industry, preferably in a larger organization.
- Strong understanding of the European legislative framework, with fluency in English (written/spoken) and German (written/spoken).
- Confident operator able to work with all levels (junior to C-suite).
- Able to deliver high-quality insight and reporting in various formats, comfortable with handling data and internal tooling.
- Experience in using Jira/Confluence and understanding of prevalent FinTech project management methodologies (Agile, Lean) essential.
