Your Role
As a vital member of the Workplace Privacy Artificial Intelligence (AI) Review team, you will contribute significantly to the implementation of privacy measures across Amazon's diverse employee, candidate, and contingent worker groups. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with various stakeholders to ensure adherence to privacy regulations.
- Consulting with key parties to align with global privacy and AI regulatory standards, including GDPR.
- Utilizing your expertise in case management and analytics to create and execute innovative data protection strategies for AI-driven tools.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Review internal and third-party AI applications for compliance with privacy obligations.
- Provide proactive guidance on upcoming technology developments and collaborate with senior leaders on acceptable business risks.
- Track and manage remediation actions as necessary.
- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and maintain Records of Processing (RoP) for regulatory compliance.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you should possess:
- Experience in privacy, data science, or risk management.
- A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, and emerging AI regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
We value candidates with:
- Experience in privacy engineering or technical privacy review.
- An advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science or MBA).
- Relevant certifications such as CIPT, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, AWS CCP, or AWS Certified Machine Learning.
- Experience in a large-scale, complex, and fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PHP, Java, or C/C++.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with large datasets.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
