Game Localization Quality Assurance Specialist (all languages) m/f/d
Location: Berlin, Germany Contribute to the gaming industry by ensuring the quality of games before they reach players.
Your role will involve identifying and correcting issues such as truncations, grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and translation inaccuracies in various games. Play a pivotal role in enhancing the gaming experience by testing a diverse range of titles, from indie projects to major AAA releases from renowned publishers.
Linguistic Quality Assurance Tester m/f/d
Lionbridge Gaming, a leader in localization, audio, and testing services, is seeking native-level speakers (m/f/d) of the following languages to support our Quality Assurance testing requirements in Berlin:
Key Responsibilities:
Assessing game translations and proofreading on-screen text, audio, and subtitles Validating cultural appropriateness Confirming console terminology accuracy Identifying and documenting issues, proposing solutions to challenges encountered Reporting errors (in English) Logging bugs in online/offline bug tracking systems Collaborating with test leads and international testing teamsRequired Qualifications:
Native-level proficiency (m/f/d) in one of the target languages is essential Exceptional command of the native language, both written and spoken Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Deep passion for video games and extensive knowledge of gaming platforms Proficient in Windows/Office applications Previous experience in Quality Assurance or Game Localization is advantageous Experience in translation or proofreading is a plus High attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines Flexible, proactive, and team-oriented mindset Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies Capacity to work under pressure and independently with minimal supervisionWhat We Offer:
