PMO Manager Job Description

At Siemens AG, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PMO Manager to join our dynamic Ecosystem and Marketplace team.

The PMO Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and for aligning the various projects, meetings, and initiatives ongoing.

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent execution and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop or Enhance PMO Processes: Implement and maintain project management methodologies and tools to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Monitor Project Performance: Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress and performance.
  • Align Initiatives: Align various initiatives, such as OKRs, P&I planning, and business planning, to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Facilitate Cross-Functional Meetings: Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders and ensure that all parties are informed and aligned.
  • Continuously Improve Project Management: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance project management methodologies and tools.
  • Lead Operational Efficiency: Lead the planning and implementation of measures to maximize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Project Management Certification: PMP or similar certification preferred.
  • Project Management Experience: Long-term practical experience in project management, with at least several years in a PMO role.
  • Project Management Methodologies: Strong understanding and practical experience of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Project Management Software: Proficiency in project management software.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
