We are a leading player in the financial services industry, dedicated to turning ideas into reality. Our Equity Finance team invests in companies and projects across various impactful sectors, providing tailored financing solutions for customers and Siemens Industrial Businesses. As a Senior Equity Investment Professional, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our fund investment portfolio, assessing new fund and co-investment opportunities, and driving value creation.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Research and Analysis: Proactively assess potential investment markets through comprehensive desktop research, strategic networking, and active participation in industry events.
  • Fund Evaluation: Evaluate potential fund investments by analyzing historical performance, assessing management teams and investment strategies, and evaluating value creation strategies.
  • Due Diligence: Meet with fund managers, steer deal teams, and collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure thorough due diligence.
  • Internal Approval and Negotiation: Prepare internal approval applications, assess opportunities based on SFS EQ's strategic pillars, and negotiate with targets and third parties.
  • Portfolio Management: Analyze fund investments, prepare portfolio reviews, and collaborate with fund managers and internal teams to manage the budget and forecast process.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with fund managers, co-investors, and other partners.
Your Toolkit for Success:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or similar.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of professional transaction-based experience in corporate or investment banking, private equity, fund management, structured finance, or M&A.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and critical reasoning skills, asset valuation skills, MS Office expertise, and financial modeling and risk analysis skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Highly self-motivated, strong initiative, and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working in ecosystems.
