About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Category & Purchasing team as a Working Student Category. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your analytical skills and understanding of the beauty industry by supporting the team on their daily work and doing market research, as well as performance analyses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate new product orders and track order status in close collaboration with the Category & Purchasing Managers
  • Support the team in all areas and operational matters, including analytical preparation of product launches and forecasting
  • Communicate directly with suppliers on various matters, such as collecting product-related information
  • Maintain product-related data, including out-of-stocks, product visuals, and set connections
  • Evaluate and onboard new brands into our portfolio

Requirements

  • Enrollment in an economically oriented course of studies, such as business administration, economics, or a similar field
  • Based in Berlin or willing to relocate for the role, with a minimum commitment of one year
  • Fluent in German and very good English language skills
  • Confident handling of MS Office or G-Suite, especially Excel, with an affinity for numbers and an analytical way of thinking
  • Independent, responsible work style and a hands-on mentality
  • Passion for the beauty industry, particularly in the category of skincare
