Job Title: Sales Engineer - Stage Control Systems

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at Waagner-Biro Stage Systems. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and managing sales projects for our stage control systems, working closely with our sales back office in Luxembourg, international sales teams, and network of sales agents and partner companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage sales projects for stage control systems, including identifying potential new build and renovation projects, preparing participation in tenders, and building sustainable client relationships.
  • Manage sales projects during the tendering phase, acting as a contact person between customers and our back office.
  • Participate in exhibitions, sales events, and conferences to present our products and services.
  • Analyse and understand customer requirements, and draft optimal solutions for automation control systems based on our CAT Computer-Aided Theatre control hardware and software.
  • Describe and present our concept and advantages in convincing words, and involve suppliers or find new partners to create the best possible competitive solution.
Requirements:
  • University degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or mechatronics, or equivalent experience in design and sales of rigging control systems or flying control systems.
  • Previous experience in sales of stage technology or automation control systems, with a strong understanding of the entertainment industry and technical challenges.
  • Good comprehension of technical concepts, enthusiasm for developing technical solutions, and knowledge of relevant norms and functional safety.
  • Expressive writing and visualisation skills, confident use of Office tools and modern communication platforms, and willingness to travel regularly.
